Nathan graduated today.. *tear tear* The ceremony was really drawn out and boring, but I survived thanks to the games on my cell phone. They showed a video at the end that had a bunch of senior pics and videos in it, and that was disappointing because it was only about five minutes long. You'd think that for a final "goodbye" video, they'd be able to put a bunch of fun stuff in there... oh well.

Not much else going on though. For now, anyways. I can't wait until UNT camp and then the awesome trip to California. Woohoo!

Grrrr.... disregard my last entry. I didn't really make wind ensemble... Mr. Olsen is going to re-audition the percussion section in December *long sigh*

On a high note, tomorrow is finally the last day of school! As Mark so accurately put it, "we're probably the last school district in America to let out for summer break". It's a sad but true fact. My plans for the weekend have changed a bit... tomorrow has become Culver's and "Finding Nemo", and Friday is now swimming and starbucking. Good times.

Hurray! I made the wind ensemble! For all you non-band people out there, wind ensemble is the top band. Next year will be a good band year. I'll be on cymbals crashing away during marching season and looking very musical and smart during concert season. Hey, I don't have to put with bad trumpet players anymore!! Yes!!!! (no offense)

Once again, I've got a busy weekend ahead of me even though there's no more school. Thursday is a starbucking night with a bunch of people, which will be quite fun. On Friday, I'm going swimming at Kelly's house...ooh, that's monumental...the first trip to a pool for the year 2003. Or something like that.

I found out that over the summer, Kelly and I get to go visit my uncle in Hollywood. Yay! He's going to show us around because he's been there alot. It'll be really cool. Vacations are spiffy. Besides, I haven't been to California in awhile and it's about time I went again. Too bad I can't take Robby too, since he's a California-obsessed person. He's leaving for college after this summer...very depressing thought. But that's just the way life goes...

One final tomorrow...algebra 2. Ooo, fun.

The mixer thing was alright. There was clearly an MHS side and a North side, which I thought was pretty funny. Kelly and I "crossed over" a few times to talk to some people we knew from last year. However, the lines blurred a little bit as time went on, which was good. Just because there are two high schools in McKinney now doesn't mean we have to be constant rivals, does it? Oh wait. It does.

Robby met us there after awhile and then we left to go to my house because there wasn't too much to do there. Besides, it was really hot outside and I don't think any of us really felt like standing around in the sun. I won't bore anybody with the long story, but Kelly, Robby, and I had quite the adventure when we were hanging out. We're certainly an "interesting" group of people... *cough*. I made fire in the microwave! Woohoo!! ..... *pooooooooke*
